I decided to visit Dr Rizzuto after researching his medical biography and reading the most wonderful accolades his patients had to say regarding his expertise , honesty and professionalism. I am 64 years old and have had vision impairment for approximately a year .I was encouraged to see an ophthalmologist for a consultation.Dr Rizzuto diagnosed excessive skin on my eyelids as the problem.He detailed a plan of action which involved eyelid surgery to correct the vision impairment with a cosmetic benefit as well. I just had my 6 week follow up today and could not be more pleased with the outcome of the surgery and enhanced field of vision that I now have!! Dr Rizzuto and staff have been wonderful to work with..... I highly recommend this dr and practice !!

I didnt go there but my grandmother wanted me to write about her experience. She couldn't have been happier. Everyone was professional, courteous and informative. The surgery she had on her eyelid was done quickly and barely left a single mark. She went out of her way to make sure I wrote a very positive review.

Awesome doctor and staff. I had blepharoplasty on my upper eyelid and removal of chalizion. Dr Rizzuto saw me quickly and since the chalzion was uncomfortable and unsightly he rearranged his schedule to fit me in to remove quickly. He is very nice and easy to talk to and took the time to answer all my questions. His staff is efficient and professional and appointments are on time. Definitely highly recommend!!!

I was referred to Dr. Rizzuto by my primary care doctor for an eyebrow lift. I was told that he is well known in southern New England for his skill with this procedure and has demonstrated the procedure to other plastic surgeons all over the world. I consulted with him last winter (pre-COVID) and he gave me a thorough explanation of the surgery and what I could expect. As planned, my surgery was done last week. I was awake the whole time. One hour start to finish. No pain during the surgery of afterwards. The office was not crowded and was very private so I did not have any concerns regarding social distancing, etc. As to the procedure and the post op, it has been 4 days since my surgery and I have zero complications and only mild swelling and redness around my eyes at this point. The "lift" is completely natural. I couldn't be happier with the results or with experience. Highly recommended.

Two plus years ago, I was diagnosed with an idiopathic condition called blepharospasm. This condition caused an involuntary twitching of my right eye. Being that this condition was benign, I just learned to live with it. However, this past winter, along with the eye twitching, I started to have facial spasms from my eye to my mouth. These spasms at times cause my speech to be a bit unclear. I became concerned and wondered about my diagnosis and if there were more symptoms to come. After reporting this to my doctor, she suggested that I see my optometrist, which I did. He in turn recommended and set up an appointment for me with Dr. Philip R. Rizzuto. To say that I am grateful for this recommendation is an understatement. In a matter of twenty minutes, Dr. Rizzuto put all my concerns, questions, and yes, fears to rest. In laymen’s terms, he explained and showed me that I am experiencing nerve related, hemi-facial spasms. Just as important, Dr. Rizzuto assured me that my symptoms are in the norm and that he could help “calm” the twitches and spasms through periodic Botox injections. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Rizzuto for his expertise and for his personable and professional approach. He has given me peace of mind that my condition can be controlled.

I was referred to Dr Rizzuto on a semi-emergency basis and he was able to see me the same day. After an examination and then offering his diagnosis, he was able to set up an appointment to excise the, "possible," skin cancer on my eyelid, in less than ten days. From start to finish, he and his staff were nothing but professional, keeping me involved and educated on the procedure, the biopsy and then the whatever the result might include. I had the stitches removed today and was pleased to be informed that the cancerous cells had been completely removed and that I would suffer no ill effects going forward. Thank you Dr Rizzuto for a job, truly, well done.

Absolutely wonderful! I have a blocked tear duct that was infected. Dr Rizzuto saw me immediately and treated me. He was super nice and professional, answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable to return whenever necessary. I highly recommend!!!
