Everything about this practice is amazing. Dr. Rizzuto is a skilled surgeon, and has a very relaxed interaction style. His staff members are warm and engaging too. Most of all, my procedure was scheduled quickly, went well, and the incision has healed quickly.

From the moment you walk into his office, you’re welcomed by warm, professional staff who immediately put you at ease. Boy did I have anxiety too!!! The environment is calm, respectful, and clean. Dr. Rizzuto himself is something rare in today’s world, an incredibly honest and ethical physician. I was scheduled for eye surgery, but right before the surgery, he noticed that my condition had improved significantly. Instead of proceeding with the surgery, he told me it was no longer necessary and reimbursed me. Honestly, what doctor does that these days? That kind of integrity is almost unheard of in the 21st century . Dr. Rizzuto doesn’t just treat patients, he cares about them. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and never pushes unnecessary procedures. You can tell that his priority is your well-being, not the bottom line. We don’t get to choose our adversities. When an unfortunate medical situation hit me this summer I was able to arrange an appointment with Dr. Philip Rizzuto. Three years ago he successfully repaired an inward turning lower eye lid for me. So this summer when I had different situation I didn’t hesitate to call the office. Again he did not disappoint me. He has a keen eye, gifted hands and compassion that helped me through a difficult situation.I would recommend Dr. Rizzuto without reservation. I had a chalazion on my lower eyelid, which looks similar to a stye but is actually not an infection and therefore not helped by antibiotics. A chalazion is a blocked gland in the eyelid. After enduring several rounds of antibiotic ointment and then oral antibiotics, etc. from my optometrist’s office to little avail, I saw Dr. Rizzuto, who is an ocular plastic surgeon. Dr. Rizzuto diagnosed the chalazion, and we made plans for it to be surgically removed. My insurance was out of network for their surgical center, so the team scheduled my surgery for in-office which my insurance did indeed cover. The procedure itself went smoothly and recovery went as expected. I have no scar now, and my lower eyelid again looks normal!

Another fantastic experience with Dr. Rizzuto! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional and attentive. The office is clean, calm and beautifully designed.
