Several years ago as a younger nurse I had overworked myself into exhaustion. Both of my eyelids were drooping and I went to a well known opthamologist for a blephoplasty. While he finished my left eye there was a sharp intense stabbing pain and rapid tearing. I tried to remain calm while the physician explained that a stitch had snapped but that it would be inconsequential to my result. He gave me a pain med, finished my left eye and escorted me to the office exit. Over the next few days the pain was throbbing, I could not sleep because of excessive tearing...my face and pillow were constantly soaked with tears, the MD told me to be patient. Weeks went by and sleep deprivation and disco mfort exhausted me.I was unfit to work in this condition. Other MDs refused to touch the eyelid, some would not even see me. Dr Rizzuto was referred by a friend. I was impressed by his cool, even demeanor and pleasant sympathetic attitude. He listened intently to me and said he would like to reopen the incision. I was so relieved that he was willing to help me recover. I felt confidence in him; he had too much integrity and compassion to ignore a miserable patient. He quickly fitted my eyelid revision into his schedule. He numbed the area , incised and stitched in a short amount of time. He stated that he was able to remove a bit of scar tissue. In a day or so the edema went down, the tiny red line mellowed and I did not need any pain medicine. The tearing stopped and the nightmare was over. There were no words to express the gratitude and relief I felt. There isn't a scar to remind me of this event but I could never forget Dr Rizzuto, and recommend him without hesitation. Thank you Dr Rizzuto!

Three weeks ago today, I finally took what was a lifetime leap to have upper eyelid blepharoplasty. This decision of a lifetime, this difficult medical decision, was made in a heartbeat once I met with Dr. Rizzuto and his team!! Trust is at the core of any meaningful relationship. Dr. Rizzuto instantly became the tourist and let me be the native. He listened intently to my story, asked questions, listened to my concerns and addressed them all without judgement in a respectful way. Dr. Rizzuto offered his expert advice and opinion to ultimately let me make the decision that was best for me. Dr. Rizzuto has a professional persona and compassion that makes you feel at ease right away. The surgery was short with no surprises or concerns on my part. After surgery, Dr. Rizzuto called that evening to see how I was. A week after surgery on a Saturday, he graciously addressed a concern I had texted him with. He called me right away to discuss, while offering to meet with me at his office either on that day or on Sunday. I ended up returning that Monday to be checked, also his suggestion, and his team, Emma, Michele, Nidia, and Renee were already aware and waiting. They are all professional as well; kind, patient and extremely helpful!! Don't hesitate to have surgery and wait wasting precious time not being happy with your issue like I did.. teriffic assistance and results are waiting for you!! I could not be happier! For the first time in years, I can see my eyelashes!! In the immortal words of Yogi Berra "when you come to a fork in the road, take it."

Recently had a blepharoplasty procedure done by Dr Rizzuto and staff, I will say this from top to bottom just a first class operation. Dr Rizzutos passion and experience for what he does shows in his work, beyond satisfied , 5 stars not enough. Thank you again !!!

This was my first experience with plastic surgery and Dr Rizzuto and his staff made the experience as easy as possible. He took the time to completely explain the surgical repair that followed eyelid Mohs surgery, and also found time to talk Yankees baseball! I was relaxed and comfortable during the procedure at the surgery center. Most importantly, I healed quickly and I am very pleased with the results.

Received a diagnosis of lymphoma from Dr. Rizzuto. He performed a thorough, yet painless biopsy which confirmed his diagnosis at the ENT surgical center in Warwick. One can have complete confidence in the treatment, care and cleanliness of the surgical center. You, the patient are the center of attention and receive excellent care in a sterile environment. I, unfortunately, have extensive experience with docs and Dr. Rizzuto and his staff deserve the highest ranking!
