A Truly Exceptional Surgeon and Human Being I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Phil Rizzuto. He is truly exceptional—not only in his surgical skill, but also in his compassion, kindness, and ability to listen and find solutions when circumstances are challenging. My mom is in very frail condition and was unable to undergo general anesthesia. She had been suffering for several years from a very uncomfortable eyelid problem that caused her eyes to constantly water and significantly affected her quality of life. Her lower eyelids were not functioning properly, and she had reached the point where she really needed help. Dr. Rizzuto went above and beyond to determine how he could safely perform the surgery without general anesthesia. He was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, and he successfully performed surgery on both of her eyes. The results were absolutely perfect. She had no complications, healed remarkably quickly, and, most importantly, she is now comfortable and incredibly happy. It has truly changed her quality of life. What makes Dr. Rizzuto so special is that his extraordinary surgical talent is matched by his people skills. He is kind, compassionate, patient, and genuinely caring. You immediately feel that you are in the hands of someone who truly cares about his patients. My sister-in-law has also had an issue treated by Dr. Rizzuto and could not say enough wonderful things about him. And I have personally been a patient of his for about 30 years. He has performed several surgeries on my eyes over the years, and the results have been spectacular. I have always been extremely happy with his work. After all these years and having experienced his care personally, as well as seeing what he was able to do for my mom, I can honestly say that Dr. Rizzuto is simply the best. His surgical expertise is next level, but it is his compassion and dedication to his patients that make him truly extraordinary. I would recommend Dr. Rizzuto without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional eye plastic surgeon. We are so grateful for everything he has done for our family.

Dr Rizzuto best doctor in Rhode island! I am a war veteran and he works at The VA as well as at his office in Providence. I should have done the eye surgery years ago but better late than never .He is terrific and I want to thank him so much for my new look plus l can see so much better.Great personality and very caring too.l am a nurse and he is number one in the state in my book.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rizzuto. I brought my mom in after she fell on the 4th of July and suffered an orbital fracture. He was extremely patient, thoughtful, and compassionate throughout the visit. He took the time to explain everything and had such a nice, genuine conversation with us. I was referred to Dr. Rizzuto by my moh’s surgeon Dr. Jellenick. I had upper eyelid surgery for basal cell carcinoma after 25 skin cancer surgeries I was ready to give up the fight. This was my first time having plastic surgery and I was extremely nervous being so close to my eye area. I’ve seen Dr. Rizzuto’s cosmetic procedures on my friends at the gym and was very impressed so, when I was referred to him for a reconstructive eyelid surgery I calmed down. He was very informative pleasant and understanding of my stress level I was experiencing. It’s been 2 weeks and my eye is healing wonderful so far I’m very pleased. I’m considering at my old age of 70 having him do some botox and lip fillers soon. lol Thank you Dr. Rizzuto your going to get alot of referrals from me for cancer survivors. No more going to Boston for botched surgeries when the best are right here in RI. .
Had to have a mole removed from my eyelid. Dr. Rizzuto’s office was very quick to schedule me in and always responsive. Surgery was great and the doctor followed up personally later that evening to check in. I would definitely return to this office if I needed care again.
I recently had an upper & lower bleph performed by Dr. Rizzuto. He and his team extremely helpful in determining what procedure would be best, reviewing payment options, and explaining what to expect and how to prepare in detail. The surgery was quick, and virtually painless. A few hours after I was home resting, the Dr. called me personally to check in on me, which was unexpected and extremely thoughtful. It’s been 3 weeks, my results are fabulous and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!
